I think Becca has to admit to herself that this is what Garrett believes in. The Proposal is a great book, I loved it but this is reading too far into things. If it was a best friend I could maybe understand (big maybe) but even then I think any post should be focused on the friend and not the profession.

They mentioned Garrett and Becca briefly, and said “really sad what happened to them.” It seemed as if they both knew G&B were done. They likely both think the other has unacceptable views. Becca knew who Garrett was and chose to be with him anyway. Some of Garrett’s views are flat out bad, but surely Becca knew all about his beliefs in the time they’ve been together. Exactly. That was his mentality. This limbo of them living apart but not officially being broken up, it won't last forever one way or another. I thought he was somewhere training/taking a course and thought “Well, we learned ob Bachelor GOAT that Ryan and Trista are living in different places because Ryan is training, so maybe Garrett had to be on site for some course he’s taking?
He is privileged, emotionally lazy and not very smart. This whole thing makes me more frustrated every time I listen to it or read about it.
