Lessons in hypocrisy (or anti”hypocrisy) come hard for kids due to their self”centered world view.
Hypocrisy is all about maintaining outward appearances, with no regard to obedience from the heart.
Why is it harder? And, well, we all can say raunchy things, so why be a hypocrite? How should Alana feel about what Tiffany said? And Alana said to the same girls Tiffany was just now talking to that she might not invite Tiffany to her sleepover party”” because Tiffany gets too grumpy after midnight. You can use this video story for example with Bible stories such as: - The hypocrisy of the Pharisees and Jesus rebuking them- The harshness and strictness of the Law. It’s easy to think about when it’s Alana and Tiffany. So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.
