I actually bit the bullet and found a GREAT deal on a second-hand 2nd gen off FB that's only been used for 11 rides and comes with all the extras + a few months of prepaid subscription. As noted, that app delivers a very Peloton-like experience, but also has roughly the same subscription rates. So I may just go with the M3 and save a little bit of money. mPaceline isn't free but it is a fantastic app and a game changer for those of us who are into data but don't have a Peloton - esentially giving us all the same data analysis that Peloton users have.
